Getac is expanding its line of rugged 8-inch tablets with the ZX80W and ZX80W-EX models. The new devices combine Windows 11 with energy-efficient ARM architecture and are specifically designed for mobile applications in transportation, logistics, and industrial environments.

Thanks to their fanless design, long battery life, and lightweight construction, these tablets are ideal for all-day use in warehouses, depots, or on the go. The built-in AI technology enables real-time analysis and local data processing, even with limited internet connectivity. Potential applications include electronic logbooks, asset management, and mobile work processes in logistics.

Both devices feature 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. They are also certified to MIL-STD-810H and IP67 standards, can withstand drops from heights of up to 1.8 meters, and are designed for use in harsh weather conditions.

The ZX80W-EX model is also designed for users in potentially explosive atmospheres and is certified to ATEX/IECEx Zone 2/22. The ZX80W and ZX80W-EX tablets are expected to be available starting in July 2026.
