We have only been on the market with our startport product for a good 18 months and are already perceived as a leader in the logistics start-up sector. This should encourage us to consistently build on this."

The startport conference was attended by capital providers and investors from Earlybird Venture Capital, Coparion, TEV I Tengelmann Ventures, DN Capital, Almaz Capital and Silicon Valley Bank, among others. The industry panel included representatives from Borussia Dortmund, Klöckner & Co, Initiativkreis Ruhr, Deutsche Bank and Thyssengas. NRW Minister of Economic Affairs and Digital Affairs Prof. Dr. Andreas Pinkwart explained: "A sense of tradition, vision for the future and entrepreneurial spirit come together in Duisburg's inner harbor. On this basis, the first startport Conference brings together investors, industry and start-ups from the logistics sector. This innovative environment for new ideas and the concepts of tomorrow is an important impulse from which the entire business location of North Rhine-Westphalia will benefit."
