Krone offers Profi Liner Winter Silver Edition
Just in time for the start of winter, Krone is now offering the Profi Liner Winter Edition. This is a limited edition of 111 vehicles from the Profi Liner trailer series, which is equipped with the Ice Protect package from RSAB as standard. With Ice Protect, ice sheets or lumps of snow can be quickly and easily removed from the trailer roof before driving off, as the driver is legally obliged to do.
This is how Ice Protect works: an air hose positioned centrally between the roof tarpaulin and the cross bows is filled by supplying air - via a control unit on the front of the trailer - from the on-board compressed air system. Filling takes around four minutes. Filling causes the flat roof tarpaulin to form a saddle roof and any water or snow accumulation flows off, thus preventing the formation of dangerous ice sheets. Just as easily as the Ice Protect air hose is inflated, it is also deflated again via the control unit; this phase also only takes around four minutes. The practical Ice Protect system is TÜV-certified and is supported by the German government's De-Minimis program. Further information is available from all Krone regional sales managers.
