Iveco has handed over 30 new Stralis NP to the Jost Group at the company headquarters in Herstal. The logistics company wants to make its fleet of 1,400 vehicles more environmentally friendly and is relying on Iveco to do so. 460 new Stralis NP vehicles will gradually replace 4-year-old diesel vehicles. Due to the long distances and the load weights, LNG is particularly suitable.

The new Stralis trucks can be integrated into existing logistics systems without adaptation. With a range of 1,600 km, standard semitrailer heights and identical driving performance, the vehicles are easy to schedule.

John Venstra, Business Director Iveco Benelux, said at the handover: "The Jost Group has set itself clear environmental targets and also believes in the long-term potential of methane. Because Iveco has been using methane as a fuel for a long time, the proven technology and the service network are also clear arguments for the decision in favor of Iveco. In addition, Jost Group saves considerable costs. With the "MyBestRoute" application integrated into the vehicle infotainment, the driver and the dispatcher have everything under control, including the filling station network"
