The vehicles, a reachstaker and a terminal tractor, were converted as part of a joint research project between duisport, RWE Supply & Trading and the University of Duisburg-Essen. "We will consistently push ahead with the expansion of the LNG infrastructure in the Port of Duisburg. In doing so, we are making an important contribution to environmental policy," says duisport's CEO Erich Staake. The LNG infrastructure project is being supported by the European Regional Development Fund with 740000 euros.

The duisport Group offers full service packages for the port and logistics location of Duisburg in the areas of infrastructure and superstructure, including settlement management. The subsidiaries also offer various logistics services.
