Iveco Group and Hyundai Motor Company want to work together

The Iveco Group and Hyundai Motor Company signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on March 4, 2022 to explore potential cooperation on vehicle technologies, joint procurement and mutual supply.

The signing ceremony took place at the Hyundai Motor Company. Participants included Gerrit Marx, CEO of the Iveco Group, Marco Liccardo, Chief Technology & Digital Officer of the Iveco Group, Jaehoon Chang, President and CEO of Hyundai Motor Company, and Martin Zeilinger, Executive Vice President and Head of the Commercial Vehicle Development Tech Unit of Hyundai Motor Company.

The MoU is a first step in assessing the potential for the two groups to collaborate in the areas of technology and platforms, covering components and systems. Areas of potential mutual interest include electric powertrains and platforms including fuel cell systems, vehicle automation and connectivity for commercial vehicles.
