IAA Commercial Vehicles: TimoCom sharpens its brand image
Erkrath, 22.08.2018 - Europe's leading IT and data specialist for logistics, TimoCom, is presenting itself at the IAA Commercial Vehicles with a fundamentally revised market presence and new IT solutions that provide users with better visibility and networking along the transport chain.
Understanding digital transformation as a new routine
"Virtual solutions have long since become the driving force behind the world of transportation," says TimoCom company spokesperson Gunnar Gburek in the run-up to the leading trade fair for mobility, transport and logistics. From the initiation of business to the creation of the delivery bill, many steps in the logistics process chain are now digitalized. "We are looking at the next stage of development and setting milestones for everyday logistics in the future, when the digital transformation is no longer a project, but a new routine," says Gburek.
A good two decades after the IT company from Erkrath made a name for itself with its freight exchange, TimoCom has increasingly developed into a system provider for the digital control and processing of road freight transportation. "We have become a pioneer and companion for companies that want to use the possibilities of digitalization intelligently, simply and securely with TimoCom," explains Gburek.
Connectingdata and freight flows in a new way
With up to 750,000 international load space and freight offers every day and more than 100,000 trackable trucks, TimoCom not only offers access to Europe's largest freight exchange, but also all the advantages of networking within a unique logistics community.
The IAA (Hall 13/Stand C29) will not only see the premiere of innovative logistics applications and enhanced solutions that allow real and virtual worlds to be connected in new ways via data and goods flows. The company's logo and overall corporate identity will also be presented to the public for the first time in Hanover in a new design. red/ms
