DB Schenker and the Daimler subsidiary FUSO are further expanding their cooperation in the field of e-trucks. In March, DB Schenker took delivery of four additional FUSO eCanter trucks for urban distribution transport in Paris, Frankfurt and the Stuttgart area.

DB Schenker is already testing the use of the eCanter in Berlin and in mixed fleets. Talks are currently underway regarding the use of further eCanters in the European market. One of the logistics service provider's aims is to make delivery traffic in city centers less dependent on possible driving bans. Tristan Keusgen, Head of European Fleet Management at DB Schenker: "Our aim is to be able to deliver goods to city centers even more sustainably and independently of driving bans in the future. So far, we have gained valuable experience with the FUSO eCanter - it is very well suited to serving our customers in major cities such as Paris or Frankfurt."

Harald Schmid, Head of Sales & Market Management FUSO Europe & USA, comments: "We are delighted to be working even more closely with DB Schenker in the future on the electrification of inner-city distribution transport. The positive feedback from previous use makes us proud - and is also an incentive to further improve the FUSO eCanter. Our common approach is to learn from each other. FUSO can draw on the extensive network of the E-Mobility Group within Daimler Trucks."
