The state railroads of Kazakhstan, Belarus and Russia have equal shares in the logistics joint venture UTLC ERA. The aim of the memorandum of understanding is to intensify the strategic cooperation between the two companies. The aim is to jointly promote the further development of effective container transportation between Europe and China and to sustainably increase rail freight transport capacities in the coming years. "We are delighted to have found a new partner in Hellmann Worldwide Logistics. In the past, our European customers had to talk to Kazakhstan, Belarus and Russia to arrange the transportation of their containers between Europe and China. Today, in UTLC ERA they have a central point of contact for rail transportation through all three countries," says Alexey Grom, President of UTLC ERA.
