Since 2017, the Delanchy Group has been using a fully electric Renault Trucks D 13-tonne prototype to make daily deliveries to the "Les Halles de Lyon - Paul Bocuse" food market. Deliveries are made at different times of the day with low noise levels and therefore do not disturb local residents.

The new all-electric vehicle will be used for routes of around 110 kilometers in the greater Paris and Lyon areas.

"As a transport company that believes in electric mobility, we were very keen to collaborate on the development of a solution to enable zero-emission delivery of fresh produce to city centers," says Yannig Renault, Technical Director of the Delanchy Group. "Thanks to the 100% electric Renault Trucks D prototype, we were able to test and validate this technology and we were very satisfied with it in terms of use and maintenance. As our employees and customers are also convinced, the Delanchy Group has reaffirmed its commitment to electric mobility by ordering the very first Renault Trucks D Z.E. production model. This second electric vehicle has recently joined our fleet of trucks, thus contributing to the creation of a real "energy mix" in our transport solutions."
