Making sensible use of surplus energy
Kasto Maschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG is presenting a further development of its proven Unitower tower storage system. This is now optionally available with energy recovery and an integrated energy storage system. This allows the user to utilize surplus energy sensibly and flexibly
and thus significantly reduce its electricity costs. At LogiMAT, Kasto will be presenting the drive version of the Unitower system with integrated energy storage as a world first in the tower storage sector.
With the help of simulation software, users can calculate the potential savings directly on site at the Kasto stand.

Three variants
The Unitower tower storage system is available in three different versions: for storing long goods, in version B for sheet metal and flat products as well as containers and as the compact Unitower C universal storage system for long goods and sheet metal. With their variable loading height, the storage systems offer an attractive alternative to conventional floor and cantilever storage. Cassettes, pallets or carrier racks are used as load carriers. Handling is performed by a storage and retrieval machine with load traverse. This means that it is not necessary to move the entire warehouse, but only the respective cassette.
