Remira: Achieving greater sustainability with AI
Remira is presenting its Logomate scheduling software at Logimat. It uses intelligent algorithms that actively support companies in designing a green supply chain.
The software plans in such a way that goods whose best-before date is reached earlier leave the warehouse first. Using an expiry list, the solution also predicts which stored items will not be sold in time before the expiry date is reached. This allows companies to take countermeasures at an early stage. In this way, the solution actively reduces the spoilage rate of food. To ensure high product availability at the same time, Logomate also enables real-time inventory management by calculating inventory data during the day. The Remira solution also helps companies to reduce CO2 emissions. The freight space optimization function consolidates truck deliveries as efficiently as possible to avoid empty runs. Logomate can also save paper in the areas of ordering and scheduling, as digital processes replace written lists.
