At the heart of the new ZX10 generation is a QCS6490 processor with Neural Processing Unit (NPU) from Qualcomm, specially developed to support the latest AI functions, which offer high performance even at lower power levels. Additional features include an extended memory (8 GB LPDDR5) for lightning-fast data transfer and up to 256 GB Universal Flash Storage (UFS) for constantly smooth working while using a wide variety of applications at the same time. The tablet scores with an optimized 1,000-nits-LumiBond display and sunlight-readable technology plus capacitive multi-touch screen for effective data entry and/or note-taking with a pen (optional digitizer available) or gloves - even in heavy rain and extreme cold.

The new ZX10 features dual SIM technology (Nano-SIM + eSIM) for optimal cellular reception as well as WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2 and optional dedicated dual-band GPS for fast data transfer and precise location tracking. It also offers 4G LTE, 5G Sub-6 and (non-payable) Near Field Communication (NFC) for additional comprehensive data capture and communication needs. The tablet is designed so that a hot-swappable dual battery can be used for all-day shifts without delay or downtime; it can also be mounted on vehicles such as forklifts with a single battery only. An optional set of high-performance lithium-ion batteries is available for particularly long battery runtimes.

Drop-resistant up to 1.8 meters

Like all Getac devices, the ZX10 is designed to be robust from the ground up to enable stable use in harsh environments. MIL-STD-810H plus IP66 certification, drop resistance from a height of up to 1.8 meters and an operating temperature range of -29 °C to 63 °C guarantee stability even in extreme weather conditions and usage scenarios. The new ZX10 weighs just 906 grams and is currently the lightest fully ruggedized 10-inch tablet on the market, according to the manufacturer. The next-generation ZX10 runs the intuitive Android 13 operating system as standard: for enormous flexibility, versatility and ease of use. It has also been awarded the Android Enterprise Recommended seal of approval and meets all the specific, strict Google test procedures and requirements. This means that the device will receive security updates every 90 days for five years, as well as regular patches and feature enhancements. Getac has also committed to supporting at least three Android operating system versions for each product generation to future-proof the ZX10 and ensure stable Android applications at all times.
