trans-o-flex makes delivery times easier to plan

trans-o-flex ThermoMed Austria is optimizing its delivery processes with new scheduling software and a digital self-handling module for drivers. The solutions are designed to speed up route planning, offer recipients greater transparency and make processes at the four Austrian locations more efficient.

trans-o-flex ThermoMed Austria (TMA) has introduced new scheduling software and a digital self-handling module for delivery drivers at its four Austrian branches. The aim is to process deliveries faster and more efficiently and to provide recipients with detailed information on the expected delivery time window in future.

The new scheduling software automatically creates optimized routes, taking delivery commitments and goods acceptance times into account. At the same time, dispatchers can adapt the suggestions if necessary.

Drivers also benefit from the new processes. After loading their vehicles, they can complete the route check directly in the transshipment hall using a QR code scan. The previous trip to the dispatch office is no longer necessary, which reduces waiting times and delivery tours can be started earlier.

The same systems are already being used by the German sister company trans-o-flex Express.
