trans-o-flex expands management board
Michael Löckener has been appointed Managing Director Operations at trans-o-flex Verwaltungs GmbH as of August 1, 2024. The company manages the various trans-o-flex companies in Germany and Austria, which specialize in transport and logistics for the pharmaceutical & healthcare industry, cosmetics, household and consumer electronics and other sensitive goods.
"By appointing Michael Löckener as Managing Director at trans-o-flex Verwaltungs GmbH, he can make optimum use of his experience and expertise and we have a clear and transparent division of responsibilities within the management team," says Martin Reder, CEO of trans-o-flex. In addition to the new addition Löckener, the management team will continue to consist of Martin Reder (CEO), Michael Schmidt (Finance) and Eugen Günther (Sales).
Löckener has been working for trans-o-flex since April 2015. Before joining trans-o-flex, the forwarding agent and transport manager worked in various roles at the logistics service providers Fiege, TNT and GLS.
He began his career at trans-o-flex in the role of Regional Operations Manager North, but very quickly took on management tasks at the company's subsidiaries. In July 2018, he became Managing Director of trans-o-flex ThermoMed, which specializes in the active temperature-controlled transport of pharmaceuticals. In April 2019, he also took over the management of trans-o-flex Training & Service GmbH, which has developed training and further education concepts for trans-o-flex and offers training for employees as well as driver training.
Since January 2022, he has also been responsible for the day-to-day operations of trans-o-flex Express GmbH & Co. KGaA as Head of Operation Area. He will retain his management duties for subsidiaries of trans-o-flex in his new role.
