TSC Printronix Auto ID expands on-site services

Both the "On-Site Service Program" and the "Extended Warranty Program" are now available for TSC brand industrial printers and Printronix Auto ID brand industrial enterprise printers.

The customized service and maintenance contracts for industrial printers from TSC and industrial enterprise printers from Printronix Auto ID define fixed costs and services for a fixed period. This allows service requirements to be planned and budgeted for the long term, even for complex work equipment. Faults can also be rectified and defective devices can be repaired or quickly replaced at short notice. "The aim is to largely avoid unpleasant surprises in companies or reduce them to a minimum - and thus ensure the best possible productivity for our customers," explains André van Swaaij, Manager Services and Customer Solutions at TSC Auto ID Technology EMEA GmbH (pictured).

"On-Site Service Program"

This service package is already available directly with the purchase of a new printer in many European countries - including Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary and the south of the UK. Labor and travel costs (for a radius of up to 150 km) are already included in the service flat rate. Important components are also covered, with the exception of print heads, cutting units and components damaged by the user. If components need to be replaced, only original spare parts from TSC Printronix Auto ID are used. "This ensures the compatibility of the individual components and, in particular, the longevity of our printing solutions. Our customers also know exactly what services and costs they can expect," says André van Swaaij.

"Extended Warranty Program"

TSC Printronix Auto ID aims to underpin the quality of its printing systems with a 2-year standard warranty. However, for maximum security and convenience, customers can also opt for optional warranty extensions of three, four and five years within 30 days of purchasing the respective printer.

There are two different service options to choose from: "Priority Warranty Coverage" and "Comprehensive Warranty Coverage". Priority Warranty Coverage includes the repair of malfunctioning electrical parts, replacement of defective components with original spare parts, labor costs, cleaning, implementation of necessary adjustments and technical updates plus functional tests. Comprehensive Warranty Coverage also includes the replacement of wearing parts such as the print roller and print head on TSC and Printronix Auto ID printers.
