Printronix Auto ID reintroduces Trade In-Trade Up program

Printer manufacturer Printronix Auto ID will resume its Trade In-Trade Up program, which provides for the exchange of old devices for new models. The thermal printing, barcode validation and RFID solutions specialist is inviting companies to trade in old or obsolete thermal barcode printers, such as the discontinued T5000 models, for new industrial printers, such as the T8000, and receive a discount of up to 7% for a limited time.

"Following the success of our Trade In-Trade Up program introduced in spring 2018, we have reintroduced the promotion this year in response to many requests from our customers," says Alexander Koch-Mehrin, Sales Manager DACH at Printronix Auto ID. "This allows companies to take advantage of the improved performance of our new printers at a discounted price while ensuring that their used devices are disposed of in accordance with regulations."

"As part of our responsibility with regard to the European WEEE Directive, we are working with a renowned, Europe-wide disposal company that guarantees the professional and environmentally friendly scrapping of appliances. This service provider will collect the old appliances directly from our customers and dispose of them in accordance with EU standards," adds Alexander Koch-Mehrin.

"When upgrading their old T5000 thermal barcode printer to a new T8000, companies will notice a significant difference in terms of performance and design," says Thomas Rosenhammer, Sales Manager DACH at Printronix Auto ID, explaining the benefits. "The T8000 is robust and has numerous features. The print speed is approximately 40% faster, it has the widest range of printer emulations in the industry, including PostScript/PDF printing, and it is easy to replace using the QMQC (Quick Change Memory Card). It also has a 3.4 inch color display and eight times the standard memory."
