Printronix Auto ID presents new T6000e thermal printer with RFID function

Printronix Auto ID has added an industrial printer to its portfolio. The T6000e is a new edition of the T6000 model and will be on show for the first time in Europe at LogiMAT. The enterprise-class printer, which is available in 4-inch and 6-inch versions, is characterized above all by its RFID functions. This also includes the option of encoding on-metal tags. This is the first time Printronix Auto ID has added a 6-inch RFID printer to its range.

According to the company, further advantages of the T6000e are the print speed of up to 14 inches/second and a print quality of 600dpi for the 4-inch version. The T6000e is available with the RFID option. Thanks to its print speed, the T6000e can print up to 10,000 labels per day with consistent print quality. It is compatible with its predecessor, the T6000.

"The improvements of the T6000e compared to its predecessor include the high-resolution 600dpi print, which is available for the 4-inch version. But also the external RFID antenna, which supports the older RFID applications of the T6000 as well as new functions such as the encoding of standard RFID tags or on-metal RFID tags," explains Alexander Koch-Mehrin, Sales Manager D-A-CH (North) at TSC Auto ID Technology EMEA GmbH.
