LogoPak: Fully automatic printing and application of DIN A3 labels
The highlight from printing and application specialist Logopak, Hartenholm, is the new DIN A3 printer from the 900 series, which enables fully automatic labeling of large paper master rolls (full reels) for the first time - with a label running length of up to 1,200 meters.
The "PG telescopic applicator" for applying labels to round surfaces will also be on show. In addition, the optional "Vericoder" system is the first integrated quality check that guarantees 100% legibility for every label.
Large paper rolls (up to 12 meters wide, diameter up to 3,500 mm) also require large labels. Logopak is one of the few manufacturers that can now solve this task fully automatically. With the new DIN A3 label printer of the 900 series, full reels can be labeled, even in dusty ambient temperatures. Particularly noteworthy features of the very robust system are the long running length of 1200 meters, which corresponds to 2800 labels, the flexible applicators (solutions for optimum label application to the product) and the long, variable stroke lengths of up to 1200 mm. This means that labels can be applied to the side at the start of the roll or to the front. When labels are applied from above, a stroke length of up to 3000 mm is even possible. The cycle output is 60 labels/h.
Logopak labels comply with the FEFCO label standards. The use of different logos to represent the forest certification standards (FSC; PEFC; DIN or EMAS) for the sustainability strategy is possible without any problems. "Logosoft" is the appropriate interface between the conveyor control system and the ERP/SAP system. Another important quality step in the paper industry is the precise labeling of further processed rolls after the parent roll. For this purpose, Logopak has developed a machine series with individual print widths for DIN A6, DIN A4 and DIN A3 as well as large and variable stroke lengths. What they all have in common is the quick-change system of the printing unit without readjustments.
