Torwegge presents new Eco transport trolley
Torwegge has added a new eco transport trolley to its product portfolio. The trolley was developed to facilitate the transportation of heavy loads of up to 250 kilograms in various sectors such as the food industry, retail, catering, healthcare and warehousing.
The intralogistics specialist manufactures the product entirely in Germany using acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) plastic. In addition to high temperature resistance, the conveyor technology also has good sound absorption. There is also the option of reinforcing the device with glass fiber. To ensure precise tracking and management of the flow of goods, there are also placeholders for QR codes and radio frequency identification (RFID) slots.
"Robust, smooth-running transport trolleys are among the classics in our range. With our new development, we offer a high-quality solution that is manufactured entirely in Germany and is significantly cheaper than competitor products," says Thomas Otto, Managing Director of Torwegge. Moving bulky goods is made considerably easier thanks to the even weight distribution on the individual castors. The solution is suitable for various areas, for example in warehouses when transporting plastic boxes or Euronorm containers.
The chassis is made of three millimeter thick ABS plastic, which is resistant to scratches and impacts, even in extreme temperatures. Sustainable thermoplastic is used for the tread material of the wheels. It is also non-slip thanks to the all-round chassis frame and offers effective protection against damage to transported items.
