Food Protect

With "Food Protect", we were particularly impressed by the possibility of achieving a barrier solution with recycled material. This opens up a whole new range of possibilities for the use of paper and cardboard grades. In contrast to barrier solutions that are applied to the surface, the activated carbon layer of the "MB12 technology" acts in the core, on the surface and on the cut edges of the finished packaging. MB12 not only acts as a barrier, but is also a catalyst that binds organic volatile substances. This means that all standard processing technologies can be used during production without interrupting the barrier.

In addition, other paper properties such as a moisture or grease repellent layer can now also be combined. In this way, it is possible to react very individually to the requirements of the products to be packaged.
