Sven Hornig is the new CSO of NOSTA Logistics

With effect from January 1, 2023, Sven Hornig has been appointed CSO (Chief Sales Officer) of NOSTA Logistics in Osnabrück. In his previous position as Head of Sales, Hornig was responsible for the national sales activities of the Road, Sea & Air and Warehousing units, as well as customer and sales support. With the newly created management position, the full-service logistics provider is expanding Hornig's responsibilities and is also combining the areas of Strategy Sales with Key Account Management and Customer Development as well as Sales Marketing.

"By bundling all relevant sales activities centrally under the management of Sven Hornig, we are preparing ourselves for future challenges and setting the course for even stronger growth," says Nicolas Gallenkamp, CEO of NOSTA Holding. The aim of the newly created position is to utilize synergies and develop new business areas in order to meet increasing customer requirements with even more agility and innovative solutions.

Sven Hornig's new team comprises around 30 employees from the areas of support, field sales, acquisition, data analysis, key account management and customer development. The respective department heads will report directly to the CSO from now on.

Sven Hornig on his new role: "The restructuring will enable us to achieve our goal of customer centricity. In future, all sales areas will work even more closely together and thus engage in cross-selling across all sectors. This will result in a significant increase in efficiency and the potential will form the basis for further growth."

The 42-year-old has been with the company since July 2015, initially as Head of Internal and External Sales and later as Head of Sales. Previously, the trained forwarding agent and certified specialist in purchasing and logistics worked for the companies Hellmann and Koch in Osnabrück. Hornig later held various sales positions at Hermes and DSV.
