Labor shortages, increasing cost pressure and new sustainability requirements - Knapp will be addressing these issues at Logimat 2024. The aim of the mission: zero touch. Even complex orders are fulfilled in a highly automated manner thanks to the harmonious interaction of robotics, software, AI and humans.
Robotics has a multifaceted influence on intralogistics. Knapp will be demonstrating how expensive and inefficient processes can be optimized and how different automation solutions can be interlinked. The zero-touch solution consisting of the Pick-it-Easy-Robot picking robot and the Autopocket pocket sorter will be the centerpiece of the trade fair presentation. The AI-supported robot automatically picks goods of all kinds into the pockets.
A small parts warehouse without manual picking - that's what visitors to the Knapp stand will experience. A photorealistic, digital simulation provides an insight into the Industore small parts warehouse. Here you can easily design your own Industore - completely customized and adapted to customer requirements. The Industore is suitable both as a dispatch warehouse and for spare parts, for production supply or for consumables. Meticulous master data maintenance is important. The interaction of hardware and software is necessary to eliminate the error rate and the time required for manual data entry.
At Logimat, Knapp will be exhibiting Multiscan, which, in cooperation with the Kisoft Genomix software, records master data such as volume, weight and EAN codes. On the other hand, the software plays out other goods characteristics that are important for warehouse automation and robotics, such as content quantities, stacking factors, packaging type or center of gravity and tipping behavior. Knapp provides an insight into the networking of its own software solutions and shows live data from exhibits, information on system maintenance and planning tools for the employee pool.
