German Innovation Award: Focus on user-centeredness
The award is presented in recognition of particularly user-centered products. The award is intended to make such achievements visible to a wider audience. The award was initiated by the German Design Council, which was set up by the German Bundestag. "The German Innovation Award is a great acknowledgement of the work we have done in recent months. With Rovolution, we are ushering in a new era of robotics in intralogistics," emphasizes Harald Schröpf, CEO of TGW Logistics Group.

With Rovolution, TGW aims to combine performance maximization and flexibility. By maximizing performance, we don't just mean improving the kinematics, but completely reducing downtime. "This is based on findings from the fields of cognitive robotics, machine learning and image recognition. Rovolution corrects unexpected events autonomously and without any human intervention," explains Markus Gusenbauer, Director Group Technology at TGW Logistics Group. According to the company, the system can also cope with a particularly large variety of items.
