Newly certified pallets
The materials manufacturer Covestro Germany is starting an initial test run with 5000 quality-tested EPAL CP pallets at European locations. The chemical company Covestro plans to use the new, independently tested EPAL CP pallets as load carriers.
Before the launch, the newly licensed EPAL CP pallets will be tested at Covestro's European sites. The quality assurance association, the European Pallet Association e.V. (EPAL), announced in November last year that it would include chemical pallets one to nine in its portfolio from 2018. EPAL thus expanded its existing load carrier portfolio with nine additional quality-assured wooden load carriers for the chemical industry and beyond. Since January 1, EPAL CP pallets have been produced in accordance with EPAL's technical regulations and treated in accordance with the ISPM 15 standard, making them suitable for the global movement of goods. mm
