Logistics service providers: Gebrüder Weiss expands its commitment in Germany

Lauterach, 10.10.2017 - The international transport and logistics company Gebrüder Weiss opened a new air and sea freight location in Munich at the beginning of October. The branch with five employees is located directly at the airport.

Gebrüder Weiss is further expanding its logistics expertise in Germany with the Bavarian Air & Sea branch. In April and July 2017, the logistics specialist announced the establishment of locations in Hamburg, Frankfurt and Düsseldorf. "In a relatively short time, we have established an air and sea freight network in Germany that fits in perfectly with our existing global services. This enables us to provide our customers with efficient transport connections from the central transport hubs within Germany to destinations all over the world," explains Vojislav Jevtic, Regional Manager Air & Sea Asia and Germany at Gebrüder Weiss.

Around 100 Air & Sea employees at five locations

With the expansion of its air and sea freight network, Gebrüder Weiss is following its corporate strategy of positioning itself even more strongly internationally as a globally active full-service logistics provider. "There is no way around Germany. Not only because of its geographical location in the center of Europe, but also because of its good infrastructure and foreign trade quota," says Jevtic. The logistics specialist is also planning to open an Air & Sea branch at the beginning of 2018
