SEGRO develops another 11,000 square meters of logistics park for DSV
Segro has pre-let around 11,000 square meters of warehouse and office space in the Segro Logistics Park Krefeld to the transport and logistics service provider DSV. The space will be used for the distribution of products from the British online shoe retailer Clarks.
Flexibility gains in importance
DSV is thus expanding its rental space at the location to almost 90,000 square meters. The new space is to be occupied from September next year. "Flexibility is becoming an increasingly important criterion in the warehouse and commercial space market. This is another reason why we are particularly pleased that we can continue to support DSV's growth at the Krefeld site. Flexibility is also crucial when it comes to the design of the space: for example, we are enabling the use of around 1,500 square meters of additional storage space on a mezzanine level," says Jim Hartley, Business Unit Director Northern Europe at Segro. Segro Logistics Park Krefeld benefits from its convenient location between Rotterdam and the Ruhr region.
