Since 2019, Scannell has completed ten logistics projects in Germany with a total area of over 160,000 square meters. Scannell has also started construction work on its eleventh and largest project to date: a 68,000 square meter facility in Diemelstadt, Hesse, which is scheduled for completion in 2025.

Imfeld will also work closely with Scannell's tenants and investors. The aim is to identify and acquire sites in attractive locations in order to develop modern, high-quality logistics units that best meet customer requirements. Imfeld previously spent the last six years at Panattoni in various management roles for Germany, most recently as Head of Key Accounts and Head of Land Acquisition.

Amaury Gariel, Scannell's Managing Director for Europe and the UK, commented: "As one of the most developed logistics markets in Europe, Germany remains key to achieving our expansion targets. Jan's dynamic leadership style and deep industry expertise are exactly what we need in the next phase of the market cycle." Jan Imfeld adds: "Scannell has grown impressively in Germany over the last five years. As a privately owned, equity-funded company, Scannell is perfectly positioned to secure prime real estate to meet future customer requirements. I look forward to getting involved and driving forward our ambitious growth plans."
