Logistics real estate development
Prologis develops logistics space in Hanover
Prologis is developing a 24,700 square meter logistics property in the Hanover region. Prologis has geared the concept of the building towards flexible use for customers.
Sustainability in the building standard
The project is due to be completed in summer 2019. Sustainability will play an important role in the construction and operation of the property. Prologis is aiming for the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB) Gold Standard for the building. "We are equipping the entire logistics facility with energy-efficient LED lighting," says Philipp Feige, Vice President, Market Officer Germany, Prologis. "An innovative, column-reduced mezzanine level and 36 ramps contribute to the high quality of the logistics space."
24-hour operation possible
The property is located in a commercial area designated for logistics in the Prologis Park Hannover-Langenhagen, and 24-hour operation is possible seven days a week. Prologis will also take over property management for its customers once the property has been completed.
Hanover one of the most important logistics real estate markets for Prologis
Hanover is one of the most important markets for the logistics real estate developer. The Hannover-Langenhagen park provides access to central transportation hubs, in the immediate south of Hannover-Langenhagen Airport. The site is also directly connected to the A2 and A7 motorways via the A352.
