Kärcher further expands its range of industrial sweepers
Kärcher is expanding its range of industrial sweepers with two new models. The KM 105/180 R Bp Classic marks the new entry into this appliance class. Thanks to its battery and electric motor, the model runs emission-free and can also be operated in closed halls. The new top model is the KM 170/600 R D Classic with an area performance of up to 23,800 m²/h. Both machines are designed for demanding cleaning work with an increased volume of dirt, for example in the logistics sector, in steel processing, in the construction industry or in cement works.
KM 105/180 R Bp Classic
The new entry-level model in the industrial sweeper class is characterized by a design with tried and tested components. The steel frame provides the necessary stability. With a fully charged battery (36 Volt, 240 Ah), the operating time is up to 2.5 hours. The maximum area performance is 6,300 m²/h. The sweeping roller is 780 mm wide. This allows the machine to work in aisles and narrow areas. A three-point chassis with hydraulic drive and rear axle steering gives the machine the necessary maneuverability. When using the standard side brush, the working width is increased to 1,050 mm; the working width can optionally be increased to 1,300 mm with a second side brush.
The dirt collection container has a capacity of 180 liters for continuous work. The hydraulic high-level emptying (max. height 1.34 m) relieves the user.
KM 170/600 R D Classic
With a working width of 1,700 mm, the KM 170/600 R D Classic is the new top model in Kärcher's range of industrial sweepers. With its 18.5 kW diesel engine, it meets the current EU Stage V and EPA Tier 4 final (USA) emissions standards. The four wheels are driven hydraulically and enable the machine to travel at speeds of up to 14 km/h. Together with the filter capacity and a collection volume of up to 600 liters, this results in a high area performance even with particularly large amounts of dirt. The hopper can be raised hydraulically to a height of 1.54 m for easy emptying.
