New B 110 R ride-on scrubber-drier from Kärcher
Kärcher is further expanding its portfolio of scrubber-driers. The new B 110 R ride-on model comes with revised components that are of central importance for the cleaning result: The brush head and the suction bar. An additional increase in efficiency is achieved with the newly developed side scrub deck. This makes it possible to clean large, uncovered areas in industrial plants, warehouses and production halls, shopping centers, parking garages and airports in particular.
The newly developed brush head made of robust aluminum impresses with its smooth and low-backlash operation. This noticeably reduces the noise level during cleaning runs by up to 10 dB(A). The flow of cleaning water is regulated depending on the driving speed: At high speeds, more water reaches the brush head; at low speeds, the amount of water is reduced. In terms of resources, this can save up to 50 % water or cleaning agent. The new suction bar made of die-cast aluminum and tear-resistant suction lip is designed for a long service life in frequent use.
An optional side scrub deck can be fitted on the right-hand side. It extends the working width by 100 mm and enables cleaning close to the edge. The side scrub deck is flexibly mounted: In the event of contact with equipment, it gives way and swivels under the machine. Four guide rollers mounted horizontally on the accessories provide additional support for safe working.
The newly developed dosing system with separate tank supports the addition of cleaning agent in 0.1 % or 0.25 % increments. The height and length-adjustable seat ensures comfortable working. The user can keep an eye on all parameters on the large display.
The driving speed during operation is 6 km/h. Slopes of up to 10 % can be mastered on cleaning trips and up to 18 % on transport trips. Batteries with capacities of 170 and 285 Ah are available ex works. This means that even longer journeys of up to four hours in ECO mode are no problem. A daytime running light provides additional safety. The machine can be conveniently recharged overnight using the on-board charger.
