Cleaning machines
Clean floors sustainably
Clean floors are essential in logistics companies, not only for reasons of hygiene but also for health reasons. The specialist for cleaning machines, IPC Gansow, wants to convince with economical and ecological cleaning as well as improved occupational safety.
In logistics companies, cleanliness not only describes a purely visual impression of the stored goods or of the floor, walls and ceiling, but increasingly also the quality of the existing indoor air. Due to the high turnover of incoming and outgoing goods, around 80 percent of soiling, including harmful dust, enters the building from outside. Clean floors are therefore essential in logistics company premises. The health of employees is protected as less dust is released into the air and thus into the respiratory tract. Occupational health and safety are also improved, as clean traffic routes make forklift traffic safer and prevent accidents. As a result, maintenance and repair costs for industrial trucks are also reduced.
"Made in Germany" for sustainable cleaning
For floor cleaning in production, warehouses and shipping, IPC Gansow offers the Titan 95 BF 68 ride-on scrubber-dryer, which is compact and flexible with a length of 1445 mm and a width of 680 mm. According to the company, its Gansow water management system enables water and chemical savings of at least 50%. In combination with the onboard chemical dosing system and four 6V/180 batteries, the machine also achieves an area performance of 4080 m²/h. The squeegee positioned directly behind the brush head inside the machine body enables the cleaning solution to be extracted close to the edge without leaving any residue. The ergonomic driver's seat is positioned so that there is good all-round visibility to prevent driving accidents or damage to machines or other equipment. Manufactured in Germany, the Titan 95 from the "Premium Line" comes with a 3-year warranty, which is unusual for the competition. The Eco-Select system allows pre-programmed parameters to be activated at the touch of a button, resulting in lower water and energy consumption, longer running times and a reduced noise level. This produces a sustainable cleaning result with high cleaning quality.
Combi: sweeping and scrubbing with one machine
The CT 230 BF 100 R Sweep from the "Professional Line" production line is a combination solution consisting of a sweeping and scrubbing machine that sweeps up coarse dirt, binds dust and wet-cleans adhering dirt in a single pass. Two side brushes sweep the coarse dirt into the middle lane of the machine. From there, two counter-rotating rollers transport the debris such as pallet splinters, packaging materials and fragments into the debris container. In the same operation, the two brush rollers bind and mechanically clean dust and adhering dirt on the floor, such as tire abrasion from forklift trucks.
Avoidance of dirt valleys
The cleaning quality can optionally be intensified by using application-specific chemicals. The patented SLS (Self Leveling System) ensures an automatically controlled, constant contact pressure of the rollers on uneven floors, so that no dirt valleys can occur and a uniform cleaning result is produced. Immediately after scrubbing, a 1280 mm wide V-shaped squeegee made of stainless steel picks up the dirt without leaving any residue. The compact design in conjunction with a capacity of 205 liters in the clean water tank and 225 liters in the dirty water tank offer economical operational cleaning in applications where closely spaced surfaces alternate with surfaces that need to be cleaned freely. The theoretical area performance is 8000 m²/h - this maximum can be achieved by a pre-programmed and integrated work system and by alternating operators. The software provides three separate programs to choose from. At IPC, the cleaning machines are designed and equipped for heavy-duty applications.
