Lift trucks
All-rounder with a clear view
Crown has two new equipment series in its range. The compact RT 4000 series ride-on pallet trucks and the MPC 3000 series multifunctional stacker with high lift mast are designed for a wide range of intralogistics storage, order picking and transport tasks.

The new MPC 3000 series multifunctional stacker combines the benefits of an order picking truck with the possibilities of a counterbalance truck," said Product Manager Markus Liesfeld at the presentation at the end of November 2015. The truck, which can reach speeds of up to 12.5 km/h, offers a load capacity of up to 1,200 kilograms and lifting heights of up to 4.30 meters. The forklifts can be used for order picking tasks and for providing replenishment. They are also suitable for storage and retrieval, long-distance transportation and cross-docking.
Almost unrestricted view
Self-supporting, adjustable ISO forks without interfering wheel arms and the stable mast design enable the nominal load to be lifted to the maximum height with a load center of 600 millimeters.

The double-T mast design, the clear-view fork carriage and the clear-view canopy ensure an almost unrestricted view forwards and upwards. The devices can be optionally equipped with a non-telescopic mast with a lifting height of 1,780 millimetres, a simplex mast with a lifting height of 4,200 millimetres or a duplex mast with a lifting height of 4,300 millimetres.
Sensors monitor the steering angle, fork height and load weight and adjust the speed and acceleration accordingly for safe operation. The sprung floor plate and easily accessible driver's platform also ensure ease of operation. The machines are equipped with the "e-GEN" intelligent braking system and Crown's "Access 123" technology.
Focus on safety and ease of use
The MCP 3000 has already been used in an extensive test phase at Roto Frank Bauelemente GmbH in Bad Mergentheim. As Logistics Manager Christoph Grüter emphasizes, "the robust duplex mast and the compact design without interfering wheel arms make these devices versatile all-rounders. The MCP 3000 impresses with its impressive maneuverability and high lifting speeds."
Even narrow aisles are no problem for these all-rounders
"Crown has developed the new RT 4000 series ride-on pallet trucks to meet the high demands of the logistics industry in terms of maneuverability, responsiveness, reliability and safety," says Product Manager Sebastian Schneeberger. The compact, 12.5 km/h trucks for payloads of up to 2,000 kilograms are designed for fast loading and unloading, high transport capacities and safe maneuvering even in the tightest of spaces.

The driver's platform devices with chassis widths of 780 millimetres are particularly suitable for use in narrow aisles and for efficient loading and unloading of trucks. Ergonomics and driver safety are taken care of. The controls for the driving, lifting and lowering functions can be operated intuitively, and the electronic steering is available in right-hand and left-hand versions.
Driving, lifting, lowering: everything can be operated intuitively
As soon as the operator takes their foot off the pedal, the truck brakes immediately. The sprung base plate and sprung support wheels absorb shocks when driving over loading ramps and bumpy surfaces. The RT 4040 pallet trucks with driver's seat and 600 mm height-adjustable base plate are also suitable for high handling capacities and long distances.
For the energy supply, users can choose between lead batteries and lithium-ion batteries, for which the forklifts are already prepared.
