Like its predecessor, the new F110 enables users to work in difficult environments. A quad-core Intel Core™ i5/i7 processor of the 11th generation ("Tiger Lake") ensures performance and multitasking, while the integrated Intel Iris® Xe graphics guarantee visual experiences. Connectivity options, including WLAN Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 and WWAN 4G LTE/GPS, enable fast data transfer and secure communication. The additional integrated Thunderbolt 4 port provides 40 Gb/s connectivity for advanced end-to-end solution capabilities.

The new F110 has an 11.6-inch LumiBond 2.0 touchscreen with up to 1000 nits of brightness and thus offers significantly more brightness and better contrast ratios than other fully robust tablets currently on the market (manufacturer's specification).

Like all Getac devices, the new generation of the Getac F110 is designed from the ground up to be robust: MIL-STD-810H and MIL-STD-461G certifications ensure the highest possible reliability. The F110 is also one of the few tablets in its class to be IP66 certified - its predecessor model was IP65 - and guarantees full protection against the ingress of dust and strong water jets; drop resistance during operation of up to 1.80 m and temperature ranges from -29 °C to +63 °C ensure extra safety.

In addition to the improved technical performance data, the new F110 offers numerous design optimizations that increase ease of use. Highlights include the newly designed dual hot-swap battery system for quick battery replacement during operation, the relocation of the expansion modules and SIM card slot from the rear to the side of the device for more convenient access, a camera cover for more privacy and a user-replaceable SSD.

"The popularity of rugged tablets has grown exponentially in recent times thanks to their compelling combination of functionality, versatility and ease of use," said Rick Hwang, President of the Rugged and Video Solutions Business Group at Getac. "With the introduction of the new generation F110, we have completed the full refresh of our flagship tablets, the 10-inch UX10, 11-inch F110 and 12-inch K120. Customers now have a comprehensive range of industry-leading rugged solutions across all vertical markets, tailored to their individual needs." The new F110 will be available from September 2021.
