New sales managers introduced
ProGlove wants to grow more internationally
ProGlove is getting serious about international scaling. To this end, the industrial wearable manufacturer has hired two experienced managers. Charlie Grieco (58), Vice President Sales North America, and Nico Pfaff (48), Vice President Sales Europe, bring with them more than 40 years of sales experience. Both new appointments report directly to CEO Andreas König.
Charlie Grieco will oversee ProGlove's sales activities in North America. Grieco has more than 20 years of experience and has held management positions at AetherPal, SOTI, Dell and other prestigious organizations. Nico Pfaff, Grieco's European counterpart, joins ProGlove from Matrix42. Pfaff's professional career includes leadership positions at Equinix, QuestBack, Verizon and other world-class technology companies. In total, Pfaff has more than 20 years of professional experience.
"ProGlove is an American story made in Germany," says Charlie Grieco, Vice President Sales North America. "It starts with the Intel Make It Wearable Challenge, and I think we can now add many more American chapters to this story. Because ProGlove technology is focused on hyper-efficiency, unparalleled quality and the connected human worker. And these are exactly the ingredients North American companies need to secure and maintain a competitive advantage in the age of Industry 4.0. "
"I am looking forward to this opportunity, because Industry 4.0 is an urgent requirement for many European organizations," emphasizes Nico Pfaff, Vice President Sales Europe. "ProGlove is excellently positioned in this environment. In my view, the intelligent wearables from ProGlove represent a technological quantum leap that is reminiscent of the change from the old-fashioned cell phone to the modern smartphone. In addition, ProGlove's impressive customer list demonstrates our outstanding innovative strength."
"We are taking a big step forward and maximizing our sales power at the same time," emphasizes CEO Andreas König. "Industrial wearables are becoming the 'next big thing'. And we are pursuing ambitious goals in this environment because we want to become an industry standard. I am convinced that Nico and Charlie will make a significant contribution to this."
