Dematic: Second generation pocket sorting system presented
Dematic GmbH is launching the second generation of the Dematic bag sorting system. The automated hanging system on roller adapters can be used to store, sort and buffer hanging and flat-packed goods as well as flat-packed items and cartons. This makes the system suitable for use in returns processing and fulfillment at e-commerce companies. According to the company, the Dematic solution offers a technical advantage primarily due to its system reliability and low maintenance frequency. The second-generation plastic chain system, which is based on rolling friction, is also more efficient than conventional metal chain systems. "With the Dematic pocket sorting system, we provide our customers with a reliable and flexible automation solution," says Winnie Ahrens, Sales Manager at Dematic.
