EPAL and JD Logistics cooperate
The e-commerce platform JD Logistics and EPAL are working together. Thanks to the strategic partnership between JD Logistics and EPAL, EPAL pallets are available to partners throughout China via the JD Cloud Box.
The JD Cloud Box is a logistics transaction platform developed by JD Logistics that will also offer repair and leasing services as well as an online platform with real-time information on EPAL pallet transactions in China. This will increase efficiency both in pallet production and in terms of pallet availability.
EPAL load carriers will be used as standard load carriers in the entire supply chain system via the JD Cloud Box, and EPAL pallets will also be integrated into JD's international logistics activities.
"Our new partnership with EPAL brings us one step closer to our goal of making the Chinese logistics industry a global 'smart leader'," explained Jie Ji, Head of JD Cloud Box at JD Logistics. "The reliable provision of high-quality pallets as required is essential for a highly efficient and resource-saving supply chain system. By facilitating the use of EPAL pallets for companies across China, we are also contributing to higher standards in the Chinese logistics industry as a whole."
