Efficient pallet change in a matter of seconds
With the patented PSV pallet pushing device, lighting manufacturer Trilux and its logistics service provider Stute Logistics benefit from a leap in productivity and increased efficiency in goods handling and order picking. The PSV revolutionizes palletizing and speeds up the material flow many times over.

The highlight: the system from SW-Paratus reduces costs as it minimizes the time and personnel required and also does not require any energy-consuming drives or hydraulics. In just a few minutes, the lighting manufacturer Trilux and its logistics partner Stute decided to use the PSV pallet pushing device for palletizing: The advantages of swapping the pallet in the patented PSV under the load in no time at all instead of laboriously lifting the load from the delivered pallet onto the target pallet using muscle power or complex equipment seemed too significant.
"The system speeds up our goods handling many times over," explains Eduard Rung, Operations Manager at Stute Logistics, given that more than 200,000 pallets are received each year and more than 100,000 pallets are picked, packed and staged in the outgoing goods department.
"We have now installed three units and have once again increased our palletizing capacity." The changing system is used in the 15,500 m² distribution center at the Arnsberg site to transfer goods from Euro pallets to one-way pallets for export, for example, or to replace defective pallets with pallets that are safe to use. Disposable long pallets are also pushed under extra-long packages so that the goods remain undamaged during transportation.
Alternating large and small boxes

While PSV equally supports the change from "blue to white" (Chep to Euro) or stainless steel / plastic / aluminum to wood, Trilux and Stute primarily exchange wooden pallets. The goods themselves are usually cartoned in day-to-day operations, with large-format cartons alternating with small, heavy cartons, and the weights applied to the load carriers vary from 50 to 650 kg. And this is how it works: the loaded pallet is placed in the PSV changing station for the exchange. As the back and side walls hold the load gently and without excessive pressure, the replacement pallet, pushed by the industrial truck, slides effortlessly under the transported goods and the old pallet slides out. Operation requires only one industrial truck and one person and does not require hydraulics or additional energy.
In addition to the pallet pushing devices, the PSS pallet stacking station guarantees order in the goods handling area. Used as a dispensing or collection station, the version used can be filled with 14 pallets.
Tests in numerous companies
Pallet changing with the PSV minimizes time, manpower and energy in the simplest and most cost-effective way, maximizing efficiency. As a result, the solution offers potential savings for the countless pallet changes that have to be carried out every day in freight forwarding, retail and industry: whether food, automotive suppliers, retail, fashion, toys or logistics, well-known companies such as ABUS, Wasa/Barilla, Playmobil, Beiersdorf or Schenker have tested the PSV with their specific loads weighing up to 850 kg. This showed that beverage crates or books as well as Tetra Paks or delicate crispbread can be smoothly repalletized in the construction.
SW-Paratus is also responding to individual requests with its special construction: the start-up company's portfolio already includes modified PSV units for special dimensions or square chemical pallets (e.g. Octabins) as well as stainless steel versions for the food and chemical industries. The company is also making progress internationally: initial projects are planned in the USA, Australia, Saudi Arabia and other overseas countries.
