New technical regulations for occupational safety have tightened the safety standard for working at height. As the LiftMaster is certified in accordance with DIN EN 280, it meets the current requirements. According to the company, it also has a decisive safety advantage over ladders. Although a ladder can be quickly brought to the respective location, too many accidents still happen when climbing up and down. With the LiftMaster, people are already in a basket before the ascent, travel up and down in it and are secured by an all-round railing throughout their use. Once at the top, they can work comfortably with both hands.

Self-sufficient crank lift
Users can also quickly reach the maximum working height of 4.3 meters, whereby the flexible height adjustment is infinitely variable. The platform is operated using a hand crank. As the lifting mechanism provides support, only a small amount of force is required. This means that the lift does not require any electricity or batteries and can also be used in places without a power connection. Alternatively, the crank handle can be removed and the lift can be conveniently operated with a cordless screwdriver.

Mobile and lightweight
Thanks to its compact design, it can be easily moved through narrow passages on smooth-running castors with easy-to-use fixing brakes. Because the transport dimensions are a handy 74 x 120 x 165 centimetres, users can also easily stow the device in any van. The outriggers, which provide the necessary stability, can be quickly folded in and out. Thanks to its light weight, the LiftMaster can also be used on floors with a low load-bearing capacity, such as in offices or other indoor areas.

The LiftMaster U will be available from the beginning of 2020. "With the LiftMaster, employees are quickly on site, quickly at the desired working height and quickly finished," says Höbke Thomssen, Product Manager at Zarges. "It creates a safe workplace at height - wherever it is needed."
