Pick-by-Light: New compact interface unit PTF-SUB3
The pick-by-light specialist KBS Industrieelektronik is presenting a further developed interface unit PTF-SUB3 for the pick-by-light modules of the PickTerm Flexible product family, which are designed in particular for use in layouts of picking zones that frequently need to be modified - such as in supermarkets in production logistics. The most important innovation for the user is the self-locking and lockable plug connections for the mains plug and PTF BUS connections, so that the device no longer needs to be opened for installation and configuration as before. The Freiburg-based company is also presenting the new version of the PickTerm Tray compartment lighting with dynamic aperture.
This enables the reliable identification of picking or depositing positions at goods-to-person workstations such as lift systems with trays or picking stations in automated small parts warehouses (AS/RS).
