Nagel-Group: Ambitious goals were rewarded
Nagel-Group was presented with the Lean & Green Award by GS1 Germany at the ECR Day 2016 in Berlin. The award is also the starting signal for the action plan with which the Versmold-based family business aims to reduce its logistics-related CO2 emissions by 20 percent over the next five years. "In order to achieve our very ambitious goals, we have already put together specific packages of measures that we will now communicate and implement internally," explains Thomas Pütter, Head of Network Services & Innovation, who accepted the award together with Peter Jockenhövel, Project Manager Green Logistics. "In this way, we not only want to harmonize economy and ecology, but also live the sustainable philosophy of our company."
