Ladder shoe increases work safety
With the new generation of the nivello ladder shoe, Günzburger Steigtechnik aims to enable safe and flexible working at height.
According to the company, the innovation from the Bavarian manufacturer has received a lot of praise from users, was nominated for the Dekra Award 2019 and the GIT Safety Award 2020 and also won the Plus X Award 2019.
Two-axis inclination technology in the joint
The second generation of the nivello ladder shoe is characterized by additional functionalities: For example, 2-axis inclination technology in the integrated joint ensures optimum full-surface floor support and interchangeable foot plates guarantee a secure footing on different surfaces. The ribbed support surface also serves as a wear indicator and the integrated angle control of the ladder shoe always shows the user the correct angle of attack of the ladder.
The fact that Günzburger Steigtechnik contributes to occupational health and safety with its products across all sectors is also welcomed by Thomas Jacob from the German Employers' Liability Insurance Association for Trade and Goods Logistics (BGHW). "We naturally welcome it when access technology manufacturers provide accessories and equipment details to ensure even greater occupational safety, as this benefits everyone involved. We see any measure that increases the stability of ladders or safe standing on ladders as very positive," says the head of the ladders, steps and fixed work platforms department at the BGHW.
