Contract extended until 2025
Arvato Supply Chain Solutions and Fressnapf extend cooperation
Arvato Supply Chain Solutions and the Fressnapf Group are continuing their successful partnership at the Großzöberitz-Heideloh site. The supply chain and e-commerce service provider and the pet supplies retailer have extended their cooperation agreement until 2025. This means that Arvato will continue to be responsible for all e-commerce logistics for the Fressnapf Group's online store for the next five years.
Arvato Supply Chain Solutions has been storing, picking and packing items from the pet supplies provider's 12,000-product range at the site in Saxony-Anhalt since 2015. More than two million parcels are now delivered from Heideloh to end customers and specialist retail stores every year. And the trend is still rising, as the coronavirus crisis has given online retail a significant boost.
"For Arvato, as for Fressnapf, service and customer focus come first. We are therefore confident that this partnership will provide us with a strong foundation for further growth in online retail and as part of our cross-channel strategy," says Torsten Toeller, founder and owner of the company and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Fressnapf Group. Frank Stauß, Site Manager of Arvato Supply Chain Solutions in Großzöberitz-Heideloh, is happy to take up this praise: "We are delighted that we can continue to impress with our expertise and have become Fressnapf's strategic growth partner."
