Connections supplemented
TX Logistik expands network with new Rotterdam connection
The rail transportation company TX Logistik is expanding its network. At the beginning of July, the company is adding a connection between the port of Rotterdam and Kornwestheim near Stuttgart to its range of services.
Initially, two round trips per week are planned. The terminal in Kornwestheim will be directly connected to the Rotterdam terminals RSC, Euromax and ECT Delta at the start of production. This means that the container terminals on the Maasvlakte as well as in the Rotterdam city area will be served. The other terminals in Rotterdam are served by a transfer service. "The new service now also connects the economy in Baden-Württemberg with the seaport with the highest throughput in Europe," says Berit Börke, Chief Sales Officer at TX Logistik. "We are using the boxXpress.de train system, in which we have been involved since it was founded and which has proven itself over the years in the seaport hinterland traffic of Hamburg and Bremerhaven thanks to its high stability and reliability."
