Renault Trucks introduces a seal of quality for used trucks
09.08.2017 - The Renault Trucks T series has been awarded the Renault Trucks Selection seal of approval with immediate effect. Renault Trucks thus offers a warranty of 12 months or 120,000 kilometers on the powertrain. New technologies on board the Renault Trucks T range also enable customers to optimize driving style and fuel consumption.
The seal of approval for all used vehicles in the T long-haul series includes a powertrain warranty for one year or 120,000 kilometers from the manufacturer as well as one-year towing insurance. Customers can also purchase used trucks that have been inspected, reconditioned and certified strictly in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications using a 200-point plan. Vehicles bearing the Renault Trucks Selection seal of approval also have a complete vehicle history with manufacturer documentation.
Renault Trucks Selection vehicles are equipped with the latest technologies to optimize driving style and reduce fuel consumption by up to 5 percent. The Optifleet fleet management system, fitted as standard, can further reduce the vehicle's operating costs. Among other things, the system displays the vehicle's speed, exact position and routes. Technical data such as fuel consumption, percentage of idling time or number of brake pedal applications can also be easily analyzed remotely. In the event of major changes to the fuel level, customers receive a warning in the system so that they can react as quickly as possible.
To coincide with the introduction of the Renault Trucks Selection seal of quality, Renault Trucks in Germany is now offering Renault Trucks T as young used trucks (maximum term of 26 months or 280,000 kilometers) in the Sleeper Cab version with an 11-liter engine, Voith retarder and 460 hp. The vehicles are available immediately and comply with the Euro 6 standard, which has been in force since 2013. In addition, the two equipment packages Fuel Eco and Comfort as well as completely new tires are included. In order to optimize both flexibility and security for the customer, the offer also includes a variable leasing term and GAP insurance in addition to the aforementioned advantages of the Selection seal of approval. red/cd
