Hellmann and Geodis have already been cooperating successfully in the UK since May and are now expanding their collaboration on this basis. France is a strategically important market for Hellmann. Last year, the logistics company opened its first own sea and air freight branch in France near Paris. With the change of partner in the land transportation sector, Hellmann is now setting the course for further strategic growth.

Together with the French market leader Geodis, which is characterized by one of the most efficient networks in France with 110 branches, Hellmann is further expanding its product portfolio by offering new routes and increasing the frequency of departures, also for imports.

"The French market is Hellmann's most important export market for overland transportation, and we are consistently expanding our strong market position in France with this partnership. In GEODIS, we have found a very efficient and well-positioned partner with whom we can continue to optimize our service offering for our customers," says Matthias Magnor, Chief Operating Officer Road & Rail, Hellmann Worldwide Logistics.
