Federal Railway Authority gives the green light for the Transport System Bögl

Transport System Bögl (TSB) has received assurance from the German Federal Railway Authority (EBA) that key parts of the vehicle and the track meet the requirements and are therefore eligible for approval.

The EBA and the appointed experts have now confirmed that the assumptions made are correct, the documentation for the verification process is complete, the tests were carried out in accordance with standards and requirements and there are no objections to operation on the existing test tracks. Furthermore, the EBA will take the decisions as a basis when issuing the operating license for future application routes.

The next step would then be to obtain the operating permit for the first Transport System Bögl application route in Germany. The approvals already granted by the EBA are a prerequisite for this. Due to the short construction time and the high degree of prefabrication of the system components, it would be possible to realize and commission the TSB in less than two years once planning permission has been granted.

The international recognition of the Federal Railway Authority for the highest standards it guarantees is also of particular importance. This opens up the possibility of simplified approval procedures in other European countries. In addition, the Chinese authorities will also take the technical documents checked by the EBA into account when approving the TSB in China. The Max Bögl Group is supported in this by its Chinese cooperation partner Xinzhu.

With the Transport System Bögl, Max Bögl offers a solution for local public transportation. The system floats quietly and contact-free on a slender track that can be integrated into urban spaces in elevated, ground-level or underground construction. As a one-stop shop, from planning, production and construction to operation, very short implementation times are achieved, which means that the TSB can quickly contribute to relieving traffic congestion in urban areas. Thanks to its driverless, fully automatic operation, it adapts flexibly to the respective transport requirements and is purely electric.
