LogiMAT 2019
Schulte guided through the world of warehouse technology
Andrea Schulte, Managing Partner of Schulte Lagertechnik, Sundern, described her company's participation at LogiMAT in Stuttgart as extremely successful. "Our new trade fair concept was very well received by visitors to our stand. The individual so-called warehouse technology worlds were perceived as customer-oriented. Marketing Manager Christian Janhsen was particularly pleased to receive the German Design Award "We are proud of the recognition of the quality of our MULTIplus shelving".
The new and open concept of the exhibition stand, which invited visitors to communicate directly with the experts from Schulte Lagertechnik, contributed to the success of the trade fair. Visitors were guided through the so-called 'Warehouse Technology Worlds' by means of a red aisle line and had the opportunity to discover industry-specific solutions in each world. In addition to stocked shelves for each topic, the respective warehouse technology world was reinforced with full-surface impressive reference images from the respective industry, such as an e-commerce world. This staging provided both a haptic and visual experience.
Another highlight is the new Schulte 3D-Configurator 2.0, which was presented by the Schulte Lagertechnik experts in the world of digital storage technology. The enhanced version of the Schulte 3D Configurator, which can be used via PC, notebook or tablet, is now able to display the individual racks in the desired arrangement and combination, for example shelving racks and pallet racks, also in their application environment in a warehouse or in production, spatially and solution-oriented. This means that users can enter their individual room data and place their configured shelves there in the form of a spatial 3D visualization.
Visitors to the stand were also very interested in the storage world of MULTIplus shelving racking, which offers the operator a 20 percent increase in storage capacity with the MULTIplus shelving. All in all, this is an important aspect in terms of the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of warehouse operations. And so it was the technical application advantages, in combination with the visual appearance, that convinced the German Design Council to present the MULTIplus shelving with the German Design Award.
The reason given by the expert jury, which awarded the prize before LogiMAT, was, in a nutshell, the flat design of the shelf, which combines a space-saving construction and design with a high load capacity. For Andrea Schulte, this award was also proof that application technology benefits are perfectly compatible with aesthetic design. "And so we were once again able to convincingly present our philosophy at LogiMAT with a comprehensive product portfolio, preferring logical storage with the corresponding clever solutions."
