Safe and comfortable grating supports
The Meafloor grating supports developed by MEA Metal Applications can be selected with a smooth or anti-slip (R12) surface, depending on use, and thus ensure safe walkability or driveability. The locking mechanism in the mesh ensures good adhesion to the gratings. Meafloor is also ideally suited as a colored guidance system. In the smooth version, the plastic overlays reduce noise, such as that generated by order picking trolleys or trolleys. As a privacy screen, they prevent dizziness when walking on surfaces or stairs made of gratings. Meafloor can be used in a wide variety of locations. Due to its low height, Meafloor is suitable for retrofitting. Standard color is RAL 7015 slate grey, many other RAL colors are possible.

Slip-resistant surfaces are a guarantee for effective accident prevention. To assess safety, floor coverings for commercial areas are divided into the rating groups "R 9 to R 13". R 12 stands for a high static friction coefficient, it is slip-resistant up to an angle of inclination of 27° to 35°. The letters A, B and C, where applicable, indicate rating groups for wet barefoot areas: A for dry floors, B for wet floors and C for swimming pools.
