Logistics software WAMAS Lighthouse

The necessary high efficiency of process sequences in manual to fully automated storage systems requires their measurability and visualization. This requires comprehensive information on the current status of the system in real time from the various system components. The new Wamas Lighthouse information platform from SSI Schaefer fulfills precisely this task. In addition to a topological view of the system, Wamas Lighthouse also provides additional information such as the key performance indicators of the material flow system or the status of order processing. This new functionality in Wamas combines the visualization of all warehouse components with a reporting center for system malfunctions, component availability, error statistics and event logs.

The warehouse's components and subsystems can be viewed individually and their current status can be queried. All data is collected centrally and summarized accordingly. The user is thus provided with information at the desired level of detail. This enables them to call up a wide range of key figures: Warehouse fill levels, material flow performance, order fulfillment levels, picking performance and many more. To do this, Wamas Lighthouse integrates the data from the connected IT system in the warehouse. Using the latest technologies and interface concepts (e.g. OPC UA, web services), a high-performance connection is established from the automation level through to the ERP system.

The web-based user interface of Wamas Lighthouse is optimized for display on various end devices to ensure a user-friendly and intuitive display from the control station PC to the mobile device.

By combining the various views and roles, Wamas Lighthouse creates a clear overview of all material flows in the warehouse. This is the basis for optimizing and exploiting the full performance potential of the system and a further step by SSI Schaefer in the course of Industry 4.0.
